WHO'S YANGKI AKITENG
Working With Love Doctor Yangki Akiteng
I help change your current dynamics to one your ex can see how the relationship can work better, and want to come back.
There are hundreds, if not thousands of coaches out there, so why me?
1. I am a non-traditional post-breakup coach
I offer a secure attachment-driven alternative to mainstream breakup advice.
I do not support blanket no contact to make your ex miss you or trigger panic, the use of manipulation, mind games, under-handed tricks, and mirroring avoidant behaviour. Instead, I teach a secure, behaviour-based approach to reconnection that focuses on emotional safety, mutual participation, mutual trust, mutual respect, and mutual responsibility.
2. I have over 20 years of experience
Although my academic training is in Psychology, much of my knowledge of relationships comes from over 20 years of directly working with people like yourself.
Just like many of my clients, I struggled with relationships, and there were times when I really needed someone who would listen to what I was going through with empathy and compassion instead of judgement. Someone who didn’t tell me nothing is my fault or everything is my fault. Someone I felt genuinely had my back, wanted what was best for me and didn’t just tell me what I wanted to hear.
I didn’t always get that, and so I promised myself that I would be that person for others.
That promise has shaped the way I coach today.
3. I have a sincere desire to be of help
I do not take sides between anxious and avoidant attachment, instead, I approach both attachment styles as maladaptive coping mechanisms and learned patterns, that can be unlearned with earned secure attachment.
Instead of the traditional approach by many coaches that focuses on “How do I change my ex’s behaviour?” , my approach is: “How do we both grow out of our insecure habits so we can actually build a safe dynamic for both people?”
Instead of trying to make your ex miss you or chase you or believe that things will be different, your ex experiences the difference for themselves in every interaction. When your ex comes back, it’s because they genuinely believe the dynamic is safer and more stable, and want the relationship just as muh as you do.
4. I am unapologetically straightforward
When we work together, I try as best as I can to understand your situation, help you make sense of what’s happened, and guide you towards the best possible chance of reconnecting with your ex in a healthy way.
I’m honest when something is likely to help, and I’m equally honest when something is likely to make things harder. My job isn’t to sell false hope or take hope away, it’s to help you make informed decisions based on your unique situation and what’s in your best interest.
You’re not just trying to get an ex back, you are also making sure the connection meets your needs, too. I help you make sure it does, through timing, tone, delivery and how you show up.
If this sounds like the kind of approach you are looking for in a coach, then I would love to help you develop the best strategy, provide personalised guidance, and support you through the reconnection process.
I also offer daily coaching support, where you can email me throughout the day if you have an urgent question, need help navigating a situation, want feedback before taking your next step, or simply want to share an update on how things are progressing.
Having that ongoing support means you don’t have to figure everything out alone—you have someone who understands your situation and can help you make secure, thoughtful decisions as the process unfolds.
If you’re ready, the next step is to choose the coaching package that best suits your needs, goals, and budget. Set up your appointment using the email address provided with your receipt. Reply to email to confirm appointment day/time. I will call you.
